I originally produced this resource to help my own children learn to tell the time. It has since been used extensively to support teaching time telling to children aged between 5 and 10 years of age. This Key Stage 1 and 2 Maths resource provides clear visuals and activities to support children in the development of time telling skills. The aim is to encourage children to take a hands on approach linking maths and creativity in an enjoyable way. Slides are provided in three different formats; full colour, black and white photocopiable and tinted dyslexia friendly.

This ingenious Powerpoint provides an addition sum generator for younger children. Simply click on the highlighted button and a random sum will appear. Give your students time to answer the question before clicking on the sum to reveal the answer. One more click on the answer returns you to the sum generator page. All sums use numbers from 1 to 9, making it suitable for younger children. Ideal for whole class mental math sessions. You can even edit the resource to input your own choice of sums. This resource provides templates for tangrams. They can be easily printed out for students to use. A great way of engaging students in problem solving and geometry. Also a useful cross curricular tool, linking maths with art. Over 50 different designs are provided along with the basic square shape template.
